Document suites written for use in the field

We produce and correct WTSR document suites: safety rules, operating and switching procedures, permit and isolation forms, role and appointment definitions, and contractor onboarding packs.

New suites and corrections to inherited ones, structured so the relevant page is found quickly in the field.

This service includes

  • WTSR Document Suite Creation

Safety rules, procedures, permit and isolation forms, written for your assets.

  • Contractor Onboarding Compliance Packs

What a contractor is given before they arrive, and what you keep on file afterwards.

What a suite contains

Scope varies with the assets and how many parties are involved, but a working suite usually covers:

Structured so the relevant page is found quickly under operational conditions.

  • The safety rules, role definitions and appointment limits
  • Operating and switching procedures for your assets
  • Permit, sanction, isolation and earthing forms and registers
  • Contractor onboarding packs and interface documents
Our Documentation Process

From assessment to issued suite

Understand the assets

Turbine models, ownership, who does the work and what the interfaces look like between the parties.

01

Read what exists

The current suite, assessed for currency against the assets and the parties on site.

02

Draft against the work

Rules, procedures and forms written for how the site actually operates, not for a generic model of one.

03

Test it on site

Walked through with the people who will apply it.

04

Issue and maintain

Version controlled, issued properly, and reviewed as assets change hands or contractors come and go.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The safety rules themselves, the operating and switching procedures beneath them, the permit, sanction, isolation and earthing forms, the role and appointment definitions, and the pack a contractor is given before they arrive.

Worth checking. Inherited suites were written for a different owner, often a different turbine model and a different set of contractors.

It depends on the number of assets, how many parties are involved and how much usable material already exists. We scope it before quoting, and we will say if a review is a better use of the budget than a rewrite.

That is the test we write to. A rule that cannot be applied in the field under operational conditions is not a usable rule.

We can. Whether that is a scheduled review or an as-needed arrangement is something we agree with you.
