Competence, assessed and evidenced
Training is delivered against your own document suite, so people are assessed on the rules they will apply rather than a generic syllabus.
WTSR training and competency development for Authorised Persons, Authorisation Officer support, and independent membership of authorisation panels.
This service includes
-
WTSR Training & Competency Development
Training against your own rules, with assessment that stands up to scrutiny.
-
Authorisation Officer Support
Mentoring and second opinions so the role is not carried by one person alone.
-
Authorisation Panel Assessments
Independent panel members and a defensible appointment process.
What we cover
Programmes are built around your own safety rules, your own assets and your own operating model, so nobody is taught a generic version of a system they will never use.
Every programme is scoped to the roles being trained, never sold as a fixed course.
- WTSR principles, roles and responsibilities
- Isolation, earthing and proving dead
- Permits to work, sanctions and limitations
- Authorisation, appointment and reappointment
Our Training Process
From scoping to appointment
Scope the roles
We establish who needs to be competent to do what, and what the rules on your site actually require of them.
01
Review your rules
Training is written against your own document suite, so people learn the system they will be working to.
02
Deliver the training
On site or at a venue of your choosing, in groups small enough for detailed discussion.
03
Assess and record
Assessment against the rules being applied, with records written to hold up at an authorisation panel.
04
Support the appointment
We support the Authorisation Officer through appointment, and can sit on the panel as an independent member.
